Introducing Additive Manufacturing Technologies Journal

Abstract

We are very excited to introduce our new journal, Additive Manufacturing Technologies. The Additive Manufacturing Technologies Journal will be premier open-access journal related to all aspects of additive manufacturing technologies.

Additive manufacturing (AM) has been an integral tool in product development. With the recent advancements, additive manufacturing technologies have revolutionized manufactured industry with endless range of real-world applications. Today, additive manufacturing technologies can be used for digital manufacturing of fully functional and customized production parts with complex geometries and materials directly from computer models, which is not possible to achieve with any other conventional manufacturing process. However, there remain a plethora of challenges that must be addressed to fully realize the full potentials of additive manufacturing technologies, bringing new applications and opportunities.

The purpose of this journal is to publish new, exciting, and high-quality peer-reviewed research results related to all aspects of additive manufacturing and its real-world applications. The journal aims to contribute additive manufacturing community by publishing high-quality work that promotes advancement of additive manufacturing technologies.

The journal publishes research papers, review articles, and special issue articles including conference proceedings.
