As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Only original research can be submitted for oral and poster presentations.

The abstract is written in English and limited to 300 words. The document includes one title (< 20 words). It can be accompanied by up to 2 references. During submission, the abstract must be assigned to one of the conference topics.

The abstract is divided into the following sections: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions.

Accepted abstracts must be presented in person and in English.

Submission implies the willingness of at least one author to register, attend the conference, and present the research. The invoice number of conference registration is needed for submission.

Authors are encouraged to summarize the key findings of their abstract in a video message (max. 100 seconds; max. 20 MB). The video can be uploaded from July 15, 24. The video messages of the accepted abstracts will be included in the digital EMCHD 2024 program.

Only abstracts accepted as posters can be presented during the poster sessions.
For the submission of your abstract, please follow the guidelines given below.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE
April 30, 2024. Notifications will be sent by the end of June at latest.
Upon successful submission, an acknowledgment email will be automatically generated and sent to the author, confirming that the abstract has been correctly submitted. The presenting author must register and pay the congress fees to attend the conference.
All abstracts accepted for oral or poster presentation will be included in a Supplement to be published in the European Journal of Immunology (EJI). Please indicate on the abstract submission form if you concur with the publication of your abstract in EJI.
All abstracts undergo peer-review by the ECN board.

AWARDS
EMCHD 2024 will grant 10 Oral (10) and Poster (10) Awards, each worth €400. Winners will be announced during the conference. Junior researchers, defined as those within 5 years post-PhD defense, are eligible for the awards. Please indicate your early career status on the abstract submission form. No additional application is needed for the awards.
POSTER SPECIFICATIONS
Dimensions: The display area is 118 cm (width) x 146 cm (height). Posters must not exceed these dimensions.
Mounting materials, such as pins, will be provided.
Each poster board will be labeled with a unique submission number. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that their posters are displayed on the correct corresponding board.
POSTER PRINTING SERVICE
Poster printing service is offered. Please book this in the ticket store stating the submission ID and send the poster by August 20, 2024 at the latest via email (info@emchd2024.org).
